Message from the Patron

Greetings to the visitors of our humble website. It is not always that life calls on us to serve and live for the sake of others. The Directors and staff of STC-SA have honoured me by inviting me to be the first patron of the STC Group - South African Development Trust.

I was deeply touche by Mr. Erik Hietbrinks concern for the lesser fortunate children of the Grabouw Community. His practical response to their needs and subsequent contribution to their High School, have warmed the hearts and minds of many

That I have been chosen to serve children like that of Grabouw gives hope to the future. I have taken it as being my personal responsibility to continue the work that Erik Hietbrink, Herschel Maasdorp and their team has started.

God bless STC-SA, may it go from strength to strength. Living for the sake of others, is living for the sake of the Eternal Creator

Rots van angs en rou

Vir dié wat wil onthou

'n Swaard van rassisme en skeiding

'n Vallei van smarte en lyding

Só was die verlede getem

Ons mense in ketangs, sonder stem.

Hier is ons nou

Trots, geseënd en sonder rou

Geen bitterheid onder n hemel blou

Oë hoog om God's genade te beskou

Die sweet van ons hoof, die brood te kou.
